FAQ

Q. I’ve never met with a financial advisor before, what do I need to prepare for our meeting?

Our initial meeting is an opportunity for us to discuss your investment goals and get to know each other. Coming equipped with some of your financial information will help us get started...

Q. How do you get paid?

How we get paid is determined by the type of strategy we implement. There is never a charge for an introductory meeting and financial analysis. We will clearly disclose and discuss any fees associated with the products or services we recommend.

We communicate with our clients at least once a year but frequently more often. We’re always available to answer any questions you have related to your finances.

Q. What makes you different from other financial planners?

Where we truly set ourselves apart is through our knowledge of the New Jersey Pension systems. Given that the majority of our clients work in New Jersey as educators or municipal employees, we have vast experience understanding the various pension options and helping our clients navigate their numerous choices and how they fit in with their individual financial needs.

Q. Are you a fiduciary?

While we are required to be a fiduciary on some products, we have long standing relationships within the school system and municipal marketplaces. Our history of doing right by our clients has built our reputation as valued advisors.

Q. Who are your clients?

Our client base spans a variety of from single adults and working professionals to retirees and their families.

Q. What is Retirement Planning?

Retirement planning begins at any age and focuses on two areas: setting money aside on a regular basis and making smart investment decisions to grow this money so you are prepared for retirement.
